ABS Elektrotekhnika enterprise is located in Cheboksary. The company employs around 100 people. The company had turnover of over 200 million rubles in 2008. The enterprise has branches and trade representations in Moscow, St. Petersburg and Cherepovets.
ABS Elektrotekhnika was founded in 2004. The company produces a wide range of switchgears from 0,4-6(10) kV up to 35 kV, designed for supplying power to fuel and energy sector enterprises, various industries, infrastructure facilities, and housing and public utilities.
The company carries out the following core activities:
- switchgears from 6(10) kV up to 35 kV (in industrial and seismic execution);
- low-voltage commutation switches at 0,4 kV;
- vacuum circuit breakers from 6kV up to 10kV;
- assembly and installation of electrotechnical equipment at customers’ facilities.
ABS Elektrotekhnika’s regular customers include:
- oil and gas sector companies;
- power companies, including nuclear power companies;
- large manufacturing enterprises of the metallurgy and mining industries.
Medium-voltage C-410 cells manufactured by the enterprise are complete with popular protection devices and switches of European and Russian manufacturers. Apart from using the component parts produced by outside manufacturers, the C-410 cell may be fully assembled from component parts produced by enterprises of ABS Electro:
- VELT-10 vacuum circuit breakers manufactured by ABS Elektrotekhnika;
- TEMP protection devices produced by Bresler Research Center;
- rigid insulators and wire holders, current measuring transformers, voltage indication system, and grounding conductors manufactured by ABS Minel FEPO and ABS Minel Electrotechnical Equipment
The enterprise has all required certificates and licenses:
- License for the construction of buildings and structures of 1st and 2nd levels of responsibility;
- ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems certification;
- Certificates of conformity to the KRU C410 standard;
- Certificates of conformity to the VELT-10 switch standard;
- Earthquake resistance certificates;
- GosAtomNadzor license;
- Certificate of the assessment of power equipment conformity to the federal regulations of industrial safety and operational conditions at Gazprom facilities.
- Positive findings of the possibility of using C-410 switchgears produced by ABS Elektrotekhnika at JSC Transneft facilities.
