ABS Minel Electrotechnical Equipment Engineering (ABS Minel Elektrogradnja) has been designing high-voltage power transmission lines and underground cable lines at all voltage levels for over ten years. The company implements turnkey projects as part of its core activities, including the construction of energy facilities.
ABS Minel Electrotechnical Equipment Engineering builds new facilities and reengineers or retrofits existing ones.
ABS Minel has gained a wealth of experience in the development, design and engineering of steel poles and foundations for voltages from 110 kV up to 400 kV. The company carries out exploratory design and scheme design, including principal and detailed projects, and undertakes the inspection of projects in progress and the inspection of completed projects. The company also designs foundations of long-distance power transmission lines. In addition, the enterprise develops engineering documentation for manufacture of steel poles for high-voltage power transmission lines, and provides project evaluation and consulting services relating to engineering of high-voltage power transmission lines.
All ABS Minel projects take environmental factors into consideration, such as the biological influence of the electromagnetic field and the visual environment, as per the guidelines set by CIGRE (International Council on Large Electric Systems) and the World Health Organization. In addition to technical and economic requirements, poles’ aesthetic effect is also given careful consideration at the stage of conceptual solutions development, since this is an essential part of visual impact on the environment.

- assembling optical pilot ground cables (OPGC) and optical self-supporting cables on HV lines;
- installation of underground cable lines;
- building and assembly works on transformer substations and switchboards up to 400 kV;
- production of joining equipment for HV lines and transformer substations up to 400kV;
- building and assembly of commercial and industrial cableways, aerial systems, street lighting and special lighting installations;
- assembly of steel constructions on other energy, industrial, waterworks and transport facilities;
- selection and supply of electrical equipment at all voltage levels;
- turnkey projects of HV lines at all voltage levels.
