ABS Minel FEPO was founded in 1956. ABS Minel FEPO’s production has been widely used for over 50 years in such diverse areas as electrical engineering, power production and industry.

ABS Minel FEPO Company’s core activities include the manufacture of:

ABS Minel FEPO manufactures measuring transformers employing technology from Messwandler-Bau Company (Germany), one of the leading producers of molded transformers. The products comply with all required certificates of conformity to the Russian GOST-R and IEC standards.

ABS Minel FEPO manufactured transformers are provided with one or two primary windings and may have up to six secondary windings for measurement, metering and relay protection. Materials made in Germany, France and Italy are used to manufacture magnet cores, as well as for primary and secondary insulation and casting. Transformers ensure high reliability and measurement accuracy both when there is minimal power system demand and when there is transmission congestion. It is possible to make changes in transformer parameters to meet specific customer requirements. Many types of ABS Minel FEPO transformers have no analogous models in Russia.

Isolators manufactured by ABS Minel FEPO are employed in building switchyards, transformer substations, in carrying out switchboard equipment assembly work, in retrofitting outdoor and indoor switchgears, as well as in refurbishing switchgears. The APG Process is characteristic of manufacturing molded insulators. This process involves the casting and jellification of the prepared mass under pressure into dies as well as vacuum casting.

ABS Minel FEPO Company’s insulators have been successfully tested and certified in Europe and conform to the GOST-R standards.

ABS Minel FEPO’s staff members have been trained at Messwandler-Bau Company in Germany, thereby allowing them to develop extensive experience in design, production and quality control of instrument transformers.
