ABS Electro Training Center

The ABS Electro training center was opened in 2008. The center is located in the Novosuschevsky Business Center, in an upscale district of Moscow. The center houses lecture rooms and electrical laboratories equipped with modern electrical production made by the enterprises of ABS Electro.
The objective of the center is to provide advanced personnel training and to upgrade specialists’ skills in the areas of power engineering and electrical engineering. Specialists who complete a training course have an opportunity to acquire the necessary skills for handling modern electrical equipment, and for electromechanical and microprocessor protection.
The center is designed to simultaneously train 50 specialists. It has annual enrollment of over 1,000 students. Among the trainees are personnel of distribution companies and commissioning and installation companies. Other trainees include design engineers and engineering department personnel working at the enterprises of ABS Electro.
The lecture rooms are fitted with comfortable furniture, laptop computers and screen projectors, flip charts, and documentation about technical equipment. The laboratories are fitted with state-of-the-art metrological apparatuses and devices, electromechanical and microprocessor equipment for relay protection and automation, and ABS Electro electrical products:
- relay protection and automatic equipment (RZA) test switchboards;
- oscilloscopes and attenuators;
- composite needle testers, lamp voltmeters and multiple-purpose meters;
- display stand for protection of 110 and 220 kV main and reserve power transmission lines;
- display stand for protection of 110 and 220 kV longitudinal and differential power transmission lines;
