From the 30th of November to the 3rd of December at the All-Russian Exhibition Center took place the international exhibition Electric networks of Russia – 2010. It was organized by support of the Ministry of Energy, FSK EES and MRSK Holding.
Andrey Shishkin, Deputy Head of Ministry of Energy, Oleg Butarin, chairman of board of FSK EES, and Gennadiy Binko, Deputy Head of MRSK Holding, mentioned the growing interest of the Russian and foreign electrotechnical markets to the exhibition and the high level of the exhibition. Speakers underlined the importance of the exhibition for the power supply industry as it gives a great opportunity for information and experience exchange between the developers, equipment manufacturers, specialists of electric grid companies, project and design institutes.
More than 400 Russian and foreign companies took part at the exhibition. Traditionally, ABS Electro presented on its booth the up‑to‑date electrotechnical products range. Among the exhibits manufactured by the company enterprises there were: relay protection cabinets and low-voltage commutation switches made by VNIIR, С-410 6(10) kV switchgears made by ABS Elektrotekhnika, the complete current distributors made by ABS ZEiM Automation. The wide range of products presented at the exhibition included not only the products manufactured by company enterprises in Russia but also the primary power equipment. The considerable interest raised the oil-filled power transformers for 10-04 kV made by ABS Minel Trafo, which manufactured them using the highest quality components and anticorrosive coating. Another Serbian product that arose interest of the visitors was 110 kV high-voltage disconnector made by ABS Minel Electrical Equipment, it is easy to install and has better technical characteristics. The exhibits have longer life compared to the Russian analogues. The quality of products manufactured by Serbian company branch is highly appreciated by Serbian power plants. It is worth to note that Serbian enterprises have considerable experience in power products supply to the Russian market (among them is the application of transformers on Shell facility and high-voltage disconnectors on Zheleznogorskaya HPP).
Apart from the wide range of the equipment, there were demonstrated the possibilities of VNIIR Center of power system modeling. The researches carried out by its specialists using high-performance software systems are aimed to improve the power supply network: increasing of system safety and power economy, reduction of power losses during transportation. One of the tasks of the Center is elaboration of recommendations how to improve the structure and work modes, examination of static and dynamic stability, relay protection and automation equipment check on actual time digital models. The Center opened in the beginning of 2010 is finishing the elaboration of software for automatic formation of underfrequency load shedding schedule for OJSC “MOESK”.
During four days of the exhibition the booth of ABS Electro attracted attention of many partners and prospective clients. The joint engineering and technical solutions of VNIIR, ABS Elektrotekhnika, ABS ZEiM Automation and Serbian enterprises once again arose interest of FSK EES, MRSK Holding, SO EES technical departments, specialists of leading project institutes, manufacturers of electrotechnical equipment that allows planning the future cooperation.
