ABS Holdings changes its name

    The International company ABS Holdings changes its brand name. This decision was made at the Board of directors that took place at the end of 2009. The group of companies will enter a new decade of the 21st century with a new name – ABS Electro.

    Today the abbreviation ABS – Advanced Business Solutions – is well-known among customers and partners of the holding company. In 2009 ABS Holdings celebrated its anniversary – the trademark turned 15. During this period of time ABS Holdings consolidated enterprises with more than 50 years history such as ABS ZEiM Automation, VNIIR, ABS Minel Trafo, ABS Minel Transformers and ABS Minel Electrical Equipment. The enterprises of ABS Holdings provide customers with a nearly complete range of electrical equipment for power engineering and industry, transportation and shipbuilding, design and manufacture protection and automation switchgear for space technology and military-industrial complex.

    “The new name at the best way reflects the specific character of the company, directly indicating its belonging to the electrical industry sector”, Nenad Popovich, the President of the company gives arguments for the decision of renaming. Working under the trademark ABS Electro that accentuates group integrity, the company intends to integrate its gained for decades experience with actual opportunity to realize complex projects in electrical power industry, develop dynamically by means of own resources and obtain new assets in order to win a leading position in the market.
