New intelligent mechanisms of ABS ZEIM automation have been successfully operated in Mosenergo

The new equipment manufactured in ABS ZEIM Automation (part of ABS Electro) have been applied in the largest site of Mosenergo – TPP – 26 branch. After considering the results of the equipment operation the positive response has been received.
ABS ZEIM Automation continues to improve model range of manufactured products taking into account current trends in development of electric actuators for pipe valves.
Currently the goods with intelligent elements produced in Russia compel customer’s attention. In 2009 the specialists of ABS ZEIM Automation revived traditional serial mechanisms by producing a new intelligent line on the basis of well-reputed products. In September 2009 new developments were put into industrial operation in TPP – 26 of Mosenergo. This equipment included:
- intelligent mechanisms based on serial MEOF with new digital sensor BD1 with interface output with intelligent starter PBR- IM- BD (RS-485 interface connects the mechanism and RTZO cabinet).
- intelligent mechanisms based on serial MEO with new current sensor BSPT – 10 AM with intelligent starter PBR- IM- DT (4-20 mA current loop connects the mechanism and RTZO cabinet).
- position signaling units MSP – 1M with a new digital multi turn sensor up to 512 revolutions. The quantity of revolutions for a definite valve is set up by the program.
New versions of intelligent mechanisms, passed testing in industrial conditions, currently are produced in series. According to the Head of technical development department Andrey Darvin the new equipment helps to simplify APCS with minimal expenses, at the same time rising its reliability and functionality, making it more convenient in operation.
Considering the results of operation in the references of Mosenergo the advantages of ABS ZEIM Automation technical solutions have been emphasized – delivery of complete factory equipment, research-and-engineering support in designing and integration of intelligent actuators of new generation with digital control, also staff training, conducted by the specialists.
The good practice of new equipment operation will make the continuance of cooperation with Mosenergo possible. During the renovation of power generating units at TPP it’s offered to replace before installed equipment with functional intelligent actuators of ABS ZEIM Automation.
